In lieu of putting in a smaller full system HVAC, we have the ability install a mini-split system which is a cheaper option. And it is an awesome option for single bedrooms and shops. Some people will do it in their entire house, if they don’t have the ability to do an air handler or something like that it turns the house into its own system.
One of the best things about it is the price, it’s a lot more cost-effective versus going for a full system if you don’t have to have that full capacity of a full system.
One of the other benefits is that it heats and cools significantly lower and higher for outdoor ambient temperature. So they work down to about zero degrees, and it will still heat efficiently. And if it’s 115 degrees outside, it’s still going to put out nice cold air and it has a pretty small footprint.
Most people after about a week, don’t even notice that it’s on their wall anymore. The outdoor units are also extremely small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of room in your backyard. You don’t have to have any issues with spacing for fencing on the side of your house or anything like that. So it’s a really good option if you need that option.
